As part of Conjure Art 101: Performances of Ritual, Spirituality and Decolonial Black Feminist Magic, Marvin K. White will be giving a demonstrative lecture. White is the inaugural Public Theologian in Residence (’17-’18) at First Church Berkeley and author of four poetry collections. Marvin is an ordained deacon at City of Refuge UCC, and is currently a co-facilitator of the "Faith Leaders Round Table" at The Haas Institute for a Fair and Inclusive Society.
