Lynn Harrell’s presence is felt throughout the musical world. A consummate soloist, chamber musician, recitalist, conductor and teacher, his work has placed him in the highest echelon of today’s performing artists. Stanford Live hosts a special advance private screening of the new documentary Film, Lynn Harrell:  A Cellist’s Life, directed by Emmy Award–winning filmmaker Ty Kim (Stanford, '86). In addition to Harrell, featured in the film are Yo-Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman, John Williams, Anne-Sophie Mutter, and André Previn. A Q&A with Harrell and the director follows the screening.
