Stanford University’s Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA) would like to invite you to our annual Open House. Please join us for demonstrations, lectures, performances, and posters that present some of our latest research projects (speakers and topics TBA). Throughout the day, there will be a range of hands-on exhibits and opportunities to discuss the various research interests of students, faculty, and staff. Whether it’s virtual acoustics, ambisonic applications for new microphone and speaker arrays, music cognition, music machine learning, new method of audio effect processing, or new instruments for electronic music performance, we’ll cover the gamut of cutting edge audio development and research.

Please feel free to stop by at any time during the day. In addition to sound art and acoustics research, there will be light refreshments and snacks.

Following the day’s presentation activities, virtuoso composer/violinist/technologist Mari Kimura will present a concert of new and recent works on the CCRMA Stage from 7.30 p.m.

Details are still shaping up, so please look out for updates here.
