Please join Dean Lloyd Minor and Richard Besser, MD, for a lecture about the social determinants of health and health equity.

Since April 2017, Dr. Besser has served as president and CEO of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the largest private foundation in the country devoted solely to improving the nation’s health. Dr. Besser provided medical analysis and reports at ABC News, as former chief health and medical editor, and his weekly health chats on social media reached millions. As former director of the Coordinating Office for Terrorism Preparedness and Emergency Response at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, he was responsible for all public health emergency preparedness and emergency response activities.
