Ray Troll, Fantastic Beasts from “Cruisin' the Fossil Coastline” (PUBLIC)
Alaskan artist Ray Troll will share artworks, sketches and photographs created over the last decade for his collaborative book project with Dr. Kirk Johnson, director of the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. Ray will share his offbeat anecdotes and tales about curious west coast prehistoric creatures you may know little about. Four-tusked walruses, the enigmatic animals called “Desmos”, oyster bears, and giant spiked toothed salmon are all on the menu for this night of science-art-nerd fun.
