Up to 85% of opportunities - jobs/internships/etc - are found through connections! LinkedIn is an amazing (free!) online platform to build these connections. Join a group of your peers and Colleen, one of your Frosh/Soph Career Coaches, to learn about and share LinkedIn strategies, features, tips & tricks! We will discuss topics including, but not limited to, how to: use the Alumni Tool to find out what you can do with your major and explore different career paths, connect to alumni and professionals you don’t (yet) know, identify organizations where you have inside connections, and find and set up search alerts for posted opportunities. This lab is interactive so bring your laptop and your questions!
