In this one-day workshop, we’ll explore the latest research and best practices that challenge these self-limiting attitudes and learn practices designed to awaken vitality, wisdom, and courage in the mid-to-later years.
During this course, you will learn how to spark joy, cultivate courageous resilience, develop financial well-being, and practice the best possible self-care for your body, mind, and spirit. Topics will include understanding and applying the latest research on well-being, the power of meaning and purpose, the basics of money management, and practical lifestyle choices that sustain robust health and vitality.
The course will combine lecture with experiential activities designed to bring vitality, joy, and meaning to this important time of life. You will have the opportunity to design a vision of new possibilities based on your unique life experience and course material.
Instructor: Carole Pertofsky, M.Ed., is a national speaker, consultant, and seminar leader. She teaches positive psychology and wellness courses at Stanford University, Silicon Valley companies, and retreat centers and is a trained Mindful Self Compassion instructor and certified leadership and wellness coach.
Guest Lecturer: Mike Duffy is a philanthropist and author of five books on happiness. He has more than 27 years of experience in finance and is the founder and CEO of Happiness Wealth Management in San Carlos, CA. He is also the founder of the international “Happiness Hall of Fame.”
