Event Details:

Conversation is led by Anna Lembke, MD, Associate Professor and Medical Director of Addiction Medicine.

This session will provide a common sense, practical approach to how to screen and intervene for substance use problems, from drugs and alcohol, to prescription medications, to behaviors like pornography, gambling, social media, and video games. Learners will come away with an easy-to-remember framework for how to talk to teens and young adults about these problems, and how to move them toward positive behavior change.

This event is part of the 2-day Stanford Community Conversations on Mental Health and Well-being happening on the main campus (Paul Brest Hall), Redwood City (Cardinal Hall) and Zoom. See the full schedule of events here.
