How Can a Democracy Effectively Respond to COVID-19: Lessons from Taiwan

Internet Enduring Material Sponsored by the Stanford University School of Medicine. 

In order to better understand the COVID-19 virus and it's impact, this recorded webinar is focused on lessons learned from Taiwan and their approaches to contain the virus. This recorded webinar will help learners understand the process of policy analysis used in Taiwan to produce better outcomes and prevention strategies implemented to reduce the numbers of patients affected by the disease.

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Evaluate the process of policy analysis to produce better outcomes and prevention
  • Analyze and value various policy options and trade offs
  • Formulate conceptual frameworks and strategies to address the pandemic
