Event Details:

The Bill Lane Center for the American West will be reviving its Workshop on Wildfire Management originally planned for mid-March. This talk is the first in a series of three planned events that will take place over the next month. Wildfire prepardness will be the theme of the opening discussion.

Join us for a panel discussion on how COVID-19 is impacting our efforts to respond to wildfires. As California ramps up for what is expected to be a severe wildfire season, Chief Don Gordon from CAL FIRE and Chief Daryl Osby from the Los Angeles County Fire Department will discuss training, deployment, and firefighting in our new reality.
