Join journalist and critically-acclaimed author Mark Harris to discuss the films of Joan Micklin-Silver and remember her legacy as a path-breaking Jewish woman filmmaker.
Watch Micklin-Silver's Hester Street (1979) and Crossing Delancey (1988) alongside the film Romeo and Juliet in Yiddish (2011) as we consider not just Jewish women's filmmaking but what it means to "turn to Yiddish" in film.
