Please join the Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment on Wednesday, April 14, at 3:30 p.m. PDT for a panel discussion on themes surfaced in the film, Extinction: The Facts by David Attenborough. Stanford's School of Humanities and Sciences Biology Professor and Woods Senior Fellow Elizabeth Hadly was interviewed for the BBC production at Stanford's Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve. Hadly and her colleagues Paul Ehrlich and Rodolfo Dirzo will join Woods Director Chris Field for a discussion on biodiversity loss, zoonotic disease, habitat destruction, and other topics related to the impact of population rise on the natural systems sustaining life on earth.
