The Stanford Rural Engagement Network (SREN) is a community for students from rural backgrounds — and all those interested in rural issues — to connect, build community, and feel a sense of belonging on campus. We create space for social connection while also elevating rural perspectives through events, conversations, and programming that bring greater awareness to the opportunities, challenges, and contributions of rural communities.
